Welcome to the totally free site for all things guitar, total novice players to beginners and upwards to advanced, no adverts, no sign up and no donation page. Here are over 1,500+ free lessons, guitar tabs / lead sheet music, full songs, including Fingerstyle, Classical, Children's, Folk / Traditional / Ragtime, Irish / Celtic / Bluegrass, Christian / Worship / Gospel / Religious Hymns, Christmas, Country & Blue's, Jazz & Bass tabs all with free printable pdf and free sheet music (scores) with chords and Lyrics. Here you can learn to play in many different styles, as all tabs can be played on electric or acoustic guitar and flat picking (using a pick / plectrum) or fingerstyle. In Theory (see menu) you will find lots of lessons for treble and bass clef including all chord charts, scales, modes, strum patterns, techniques and much more. I created this site for my son to learn guitar and after 2 years he can play every song on here apart from the ones that go past the 7th fret he refuses to play them lol.
The order of play should be -
1) Children's Tabs (gets you used to picking the strings without having to look at them plus they are the easiest tabs)
2) Folk (a step up from Children's)
3) Hymns (gets you used to playing the 4th fret)
4) Irish tabs (To improve speed when playing)
5) Take your pick Jazz Or Country And Blues Or Pop
6) Classical (Goes with fingerstyle as both are kind of joined)
7) Strummed songs (also learn chords (in theory) and strum patterns)
8) Theory, scales and modes etc (Only if you want to learn them).
